Overview

Tom is a multi-sport athlete who has competed in several sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball and volleyball however, it is in track & field and football where he excels.

A solid 3.65 GPA student, Tom career goal is to compete at the highest level possible while pursuing a degree in either psychology or education.

An engaging and outgoing young man, Tom is very mature and displays a strong desire to succeed at everything he does. He is extremely goal-oriented and demonstrates a strong work ethic with excellent time management skills.  He is a team player and leader who leads by example.

During the football season, in addition to daily practices, Tom maintains his track & field workout schedule - typically four times per week, two hours per practice.

In addition to his academic and athletic commitments, Tom finds time to volunteer as an assistant coach with the Coquitlam Cheetahs Track Club and in several school related activities such as mentoring, problem solving, scorekeeping, timekeeping  and organizing other school events.

He is a perennial Honor Roll student who has won awards for public speaking and was one of a few student from his school to visit the Dalai Lama on his recent trip to Vancouver.

In the summer of 2008, Tom became a National Champion when he won the Gold Medal at the Canadian National Youth Track & Field Championships

Currently standing 6' 2" and 270#, Tom's growth potential is excellent.

An outstanding young man, Tom is sure to be at the top of everyone's recruiting list in 2009.
