Overview

Parminder (Parm) is described as a very gifted soccer player by many of his coaches.  He is fast, strong, skillful, and very good in the air. His skills, knowledge, and experience, make soccer natural to him.

An all-round athlete, Parm also excels in several other sports such as basketball, football and cricket but his first love is soccer.

Away from the athletic arena Parm has built an impressive reputation among his teammates and contemporaries.  He exhibits strong leadership skills combined with a very strong work ethic in the classroom as well as on the field and is constantly working to improve.  He leads with communication, confidence and by example.

Parm is a very coachable player with natural technical ability, pace and spatial awareness.  He makes good decisions and distributes the ball well. His fundamental skills are excellent which allows for a minimum of mistakes.

In 2008 he played with the Vancouver Whitecaps U18 Prospects in Las Vegas and in 2009 he trained with the Motherwell FC U18 team.  He also had a try-out with Sheffield Wednesday FC in England.

In 2010 he was once again selected to play for the Whitecaps Prospects team.

He played for his Grade 8 basketball team and was enrolled in the Whitecaps program at North Delta Secondary in Grade 10. His soccer program was merged into his school exchanging extracurricular classes for soccer training with Bart Choufour in Grade 10. He has completed various volunteer hours such as volunteering with Dave Hayer the MLA of Tynehead and volunteering at the front desk for the Winter Olympics at the Quality hotel. Furthermore, he has completed his Level One Insurance and currently works part time at Allied Insurance Services at the Fleetwood Branch.

While playing in university Parm is looking to study sports medicine or business.

2009: Trained with the Motherwell U18 team at the age of 16. After this evaluation he was then asked to play a full ninety minute game with his age group. He was then asked to return in the summer to continue evaluation but team management was changed and the program/transfers changed.
