General Overview

Colton is an excellent defensive/offensive line prospect.  Currently at 6' 2", 245# we expect Colton to be in the 260# range by the time he graduates in June 2008.....he ha great growth and development potential. In the spring of 2007 he placed 1st in the STMC 1000# Club with a total of 1295#.

Colton is an aggressive player and currently anchors the STMC defensive line from his nose guard position...he is the leading tackler  on the team.  He does and excellent job of cancelling the "A" gaps which allows the linebackers a better opportunity to scrape and flow.

Offensively he gets off the ball quickly and display excellent power and quick feet when run blocking.  He has flexible knees and loose hips with good arm extension which allows him to be a solid, effective pass blocker.

Off the field, Colton has a cheerful and outgoing personality and has a great sense of humor.  He is a focused and dedicated player and has a huge desire to win.  He is very coachable and easily passes the "eyeball test".

Colton is an excellent prospect.
