Personal Profile

Primary Sports:  Football & Wrestling

Overview

Ante (pronounced an-tey) is an exceptional student athlete with a tremendous up-side who is entering his Senior year at Notre Dame High School in Vancouver.  He is an outstanding football player and wrestler.

He is a  leader on his football and wrestling teams who leads by example and exhibits great determination and focus.  He has a burning desire to win.

Ante has developed into an impact player in the past two years whether as a running back or linebacker.  He is blessed with a natural talent and continually works very hard to  improve his skills.

As a running back he has quick feet and good vision.  He can run around the tackler or in some cases run right over him.  He is tough and durable with good speed in the open field. He has excellent blocking skills and has good hands when catching the ball coming out of the backfield.

Defensively, he LOVES to hit.  His tackling technique has improved immensely over the past year and he has become a sure tackler who "brings it" all the time time.  He is a PLAYER.

Ante was selected to represent British Columbia as a member of the U-18 Team BC which won the Bronze Medal at the 2011 U-18 Football Canada Cup which took place in Lethbridge, Alberta in July.  He was named the Defensive Player of the Game when BC played Quebec and later was selected to the All Canada All Star Team as a linebacker.

In his Junior year at Notre Dame Ante was chosen as a AAA Western Conference Defensive All Star.

A thoroughly likeable young man, Ante exudes confidence without being cocky.  He is a true team player who is constantly encouraging his teammates. He is highly respected by his peers, coaches and teachers at Notre Dame and spend many volunteer hours helping with various initiatives such as Special Olympics, Diabetes Awareness, volunteering at his church, and acting as an assistant coach in elementary school wrestling.

We project Ante to be in the 6' 1"-225# range by the time he graduates in July 2012.

He is a Blue Chip Prospect.
