Overview

Melanie is an outstanding soccer prospect who currently plays for three teams.....U-16 Whitecaps (Super Y League), U-16 Surdel Sting (Metro) and north Delta Secondary (High School league.

Melanie is a multi-sport athlete but it is on the soccer field where really excels. She was selected to participate in the Intra Provincial League and the Whitecaps Elite program in 2006 and has been a member ever since.

 In 2007 as a Ninth Grader she played on the Senior Girls Soccer team at North Delta as well the U-15 Sting and the Whitecaps.

Melanie is a dedicated and talented athlete who displays great determination and works very hard to improve her skills. She is tough and has a great fell for the game and she makes very good decisions on the field.

She has very good dribbling skills and is a tenacious tackler who shows a great will to win.  She is very adaptable and can play several positions on the field.

Off the field Melanie is a cheerful, outgoing person who has a great sense of humor.....she is a pleasure to be around.  She is respected by her peers and teachers at school and has made a commitment to put the same effort into her academics as she does to her athletic pursuits.  She will be entering the Eleventh Grade in the Fall of 2008 and we are confident that she will strive to attain her goal of graduating with a minimum 3.0 GPA .
