Athletic & Personal Profile

Primary Sports:  Football

Overview

Ross is in his Senior year at St Thomas More Collegiate.

A very impressive young man, Ross (nicknamed "Ross the Boss") is an undisputed leader on his team - the Knights - where he starts at receiver and safety.

This summer Ross was selected to the BC U-18 team which won the Bronze Medal at the Football Canada Cup and was named as a Team Captain.

Ross is a PLAYER...he has an excellent understanding and feel for the game.  Defensively he is aggressive and loves to hit.  Offensively he is a sure-handed possession receiver who will catch, and hold on to the ball, across the middle as well as in a crowd.  He has a burning desire to win and be successful.  He is an outstanding team player and team success is of paramount importance to him.

Ross is an excellent student/athlete with a solid 3.85 GPA and is interested in a future career in the health sciences.

Ross is a big part of the St Thomas More community and has been nominated each year as Knight of the Year - emblematic of a student who best displays the ideals and beliefs of the school.  He is a leader on and off the field.

Ross will play Varsity basketball after the football season and then will compete with the Track & Field team in the Spring of 2011 where he runs the 100m, 400m,  4 x 100m relay & the 4 x 400m relay.

Ross was selected to the AAA Eastern Conference All Star Team as a receiver following the 2010 season and then named to the 2010 Gatorade AAA All Provincial Team also as a receiver.  In addition he was named to the All Academic Team and awarded the Overtime Sports scholarship at the Subway Bowl Awards Banquet in November.

Ross is a Blue Chip prospect.

We project Ross to be in the 5' 11" - 185# range when he graduates in 2011.
