Overview

Carly is an exceptional student athlete at Elgin Park Secondary School. She is currently maintaining a 3.75 GPA including three Honors Academic Programs.

Carly combines a fierce desire to succeed on the basketball court and in the classroom with an outgoing and friendly personality.  She identifies one of her "weaknesses" as being too tough on herself at times.  To say she is driven to be successful would be an understatement, however, she is extremely team oriented and is always there to help her teammates through encouragement and advice.

Athletically, Carly is a pure shooter who spends countless hours each day working to improve her skills.  She is very fortunate to be able to work with former University of Oregon assistant coaches Allison & Mike McNeill during the off-season.

Carly has attended many development and identification camps including the Best in the West All Star Camp, the Simon Fraser Camp, the University of Oregon Camp and the University of Western Washington Camp and  she currently participates in the Greater Vancouver Regional Training Program.

This past summer she played for the Kelowna Heat Club team competing in several US-based tournaments.

In 2006 Carly was selected to play for the U17 Provincial Team and will represent British Columbia in the National Championships which will be held in Quebec in August.

Carly's parents have strong basketball backgrounds....mom Janet and dad Stu both starred for Simon Fraser University.

Carly is an outstanding student athlete who will be high on everyone's recruiting list.
