Athletic & Personal Profile

Primary Sports:  Football

Overview

Greg  is in his Senior year at Seaquam Secondary and playing his 5th year of football with the Seahawks.

A  physically impressive young man,  Greg is an undisputed leader on his team  where he starts at running back and in the defensive secondary as a strong safety/Will linebacker.

This summer Greg was selected to the BC U-18 team but could not participate due to a shoulder injury (now fully recovered) sustained in training camp

Greg is a PLAYER...he has an excellent understanding and feel for the game.

Defensively he is aggressive and loves to hit.

Offensively he is a power runner with excellent speed and the ability to change gears.  He has soft hands and catches the ball well coming out of the backfield.  He is not afraid of contact and delivers a blow when being tackled.  He is an outstanding team player and team success is of paramount importance to him.

On special teams he returns kickoffs and punts and is a threat to score each time he fields a kick.

Greg also is the team placekicker and he has good range and is consistent from 35 yards <.

Greg is an impact player who is a threat to score every time he touches the ball.

Off the field, Greg is a thoroughly likeable young man who is dedicated to self-improvement both in the athletic arena and in the classroom.

Physically he has great growth potential and we project him to be in 6' 1" - 220# range when he graduates in June 2011.

Greg averaged 115 rushing yards per game in 2010 and recorded 31 tackles on defense.

Greg was named the 2010 AA Offensive Player of the Year,  2010 AA Eastern Conference MVP, and selected to the 2010 Provincial All Star Team.

Greg is a Blue Chip Prospect and one of the Top Ten Prospects graduating in 2011.
