Overview

Tyler is a developing young athlete who has a great potential.

He is entering the 10th Grade in September and this will mark his third year of playing for the Junior and his second year playing for the  Senior Varsity teams at Center and Middle Linebacker.

In 2007 Tyler will also play for the Chilliwack Giants (his 3rd year of bantam football) in the BC Community League where he will line up at Fullback and Middle Linebacker.  In all, Tyler has so far played 8 years of football, starting with flag football at the age of seven.

Tyler also handles all the long-snapping chores for both teams and displays a quick and accurate technique.

A solid 3.5 GPA student, Tyler's long-term goal is to play at the highest level possible while earning a university degree.

Tyler is dedicated to improving his skills and displays a real passion for the game. During the off-season, Tyler represents his school on the rugby field and on the wrestling mat (where he placed 7th overall in the 2007 Provincial Championships in the 85kg weight class).

Tyler is an outstanding citizen both in an away from school. In school he helps out wherever he can, particularly acting as an assistant coach with the Grade 8 team.  Away from school he is very active in his church community being involved in countless youth leadership initiatives and this summer he will be traveling to Guatemala to work at a Baptist mission aiding the poor.

We project Tyler to among the Top Ten Recruits by the time he graduates in June of 2010.
