Overview

Cecil (Cec) is in his senior year at Langley Secondary School where he plays football and basketball for the Varsity teams.

A thoroughly likeable,  outgoing and impressive young man, Cecil easily passes the "Eyeball" test.  He displays a self-confidence and intelligence without being cocky or egotistical.  He is very comfortable communicating with adults and listens very well.

He is motivated by success in all things and faces challenges with a firm resolve to meet and defeat them.  He is a born leader who leads by example and is constantly seeking to help his teammates.

Off the field, Cec volunteers his time in number of activities including the AVID program, fund-raising for various initiatives etc.

He has a burning desire to win and works hard in and out of season to improve his skills in order to give himself that opportunity.

Cec started at quarterback for two teams in 2010 - the Langley Saints Varsity and the Cloverdale Bengals of the BCFC Midget Division.  More importantly, he is an athlete that could play several positions on the football field - receiver, defensive back, linebacker etc.  In short, he is an ATHLETE.

Like most young men his age, Cec is undecided about a career following university.  His immediate goals are to gain an education and play college football at the highest possible level and we have no doubt that he will achieve these goals.

At 6' 3" - 190#, Cec is still growing and we project him to be in the 205#-210# range by graduation in June 2011.
