Overview

Joey is an outstanding athlete who specializes in soccer. He has been identified as one of the Top Soccer Prospects who will graduate in 2010.

Joey plays for three soccer teams: Notre Dame Varsity; the Vancouver Selects U-18 and the Vancouver Whitecaps Coastal U-16 Y League.

In the summer of 2007, Joey played for Coastal WFC U-15 Y league (Whitecaps) and made it to the finals in Tampa Bay and subsequently was selected to the ODP camp in Cocoa Beach, Florida. In the summer of 2008 he was selected to play for the Surrey Pegasus U-16 at the Valtelina Cup in Milan Italy.

Joey is the captain and undisputed leader of his high school team and he leads by example. He has a strong work ethic both in the classroom and on the field and he is committed to be as successful as he can. He has set high goals for himself and we see no reason why he should not achieve them. He is a very motivated individual with a burning passion to win.

Joey will also play for the Notre Dame Varsity Basketball Team and compete for Notre Dame in track and field next spring.

Off the soccer pitch Joey has an engaging and cheerful personality and is a real pleasure to be around. He is very family oriented and is committed to the ideals and standards he has learned from his parents and his Faith.

Joey's is committed to earning a degree while playing soccer at the highest possible level and is interested in physiotherapy or teaching as a future career.
